Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
Welcome to the Site. We are committed to honoring intellectual property rights and expect the same from others. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, copyright owners or their representatives can issue takedown notices to us via our DMCA Agent, as provided below. As an internet service provider, we have protections under the DMCA “safe harbor” provisions. To submit a valid infringement claim, certain information must be provided to us.
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- A signature from the copyright owner or authorized representative;
- Identification of the copyrighted work allegedly infringed;
- Details of the infringing material to be removed, including the URL;
- Contact information for the complaining party;
- A statement affirming a good faith belief of unauthorized usage;
- An assertion of accuracy in the notification and authorization to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Violation of section 512(f) can lead to civil damage penalties under the law, including reimbursing costs and attorney fees. Takedown notices should be sent through our Contact page, preferably via email for quick action.
When submitting a claim, be aware that we may share your identity and claim details with the alleged infringer for resolution.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If you receive a takedown notice due to a copyright claim, you can send us a counter notification to have the material restored. The counter notice must include:
- Your signature;
- Description of the removed material;
- An assertion, under penalty of perjury, of a good faith belief in a mistake or misidentification;
- Your contact information and consent to legal jurisdiction.
Submit your counter notice through our Contact page, with email as the preferred method.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a strict policy against repeat copyright infringement. We maintain a list of DMCA notices and take action against repeat infringers by terminating their accounts.
Modifications
We retain the right to amend this policy on handling DMCA claims as needed. Regularly review this page for any updates.
